Ruggable has launched two collections – one with British fashion brand RIXO, and the other is a new in-house design collection called Kindred Cottage.
The Ruggable x RIXO collection features four new styles in flatwoven and tufted textures with pricing starting at $119.

The new collection introduces RIXO’s signature prints to the home with bold colors, eclectic patterns and vintage-inspired designs, capturing a striking yet refined aesthetic. Blending maximalism with vintage elegance, it broadens Ruggable’s design range with richly detailed hand-painted florals and prints, each crafted to become future heirloom pieces.
The Ruggable x RIXO collection is a celebration of individuality and self-expression, featuring trend-forward patterns that range from bright, vibrant colors and geometric designs to timeless florals and animal prints. Needlepoint textures, hand-painted details and embroidery-inspired florals all come together in a collection that brings a sense of joy and warmth to any space.
The company’s new in-house Kindred Cottage collection celebrates the charm and familiar comfort of fall through 24 signature designs inspired by the romance, artistry and natural beauty of New York’s Hudson Valley.

About the collection:
- Design-forward: Led by Ruggable’s VP of Design, Maria O’Brien, the brand’s in-house team developed the Kindred Cottage collection to reflect home décor trends that are both timely and enduring. The team drew inspiration from Hudson Valley inns, storied hotels and the region’s layered approach to pattern and texture.
- Trend-driven: By blending the increasingly popular upstate aesthetic with the coveted “grandma-core” look, the designers have created a collection that pairs rustic elegance with everyday sensibility, bringing an inviting, lived-in character to any room.
- Innovative Function: Kindred Cottage is one of the first in-house collections to be made using Ruggable’s new lTufted All-In-One technology, Traditionally, washable rugs have sacrificed texture, longevity, or style—but this construction delivers all three in a single piece, Ruggable said: soft underfoot but durable enough for busy homes, non-slip and fully machine-washable without any layers to align or assemble.
Available in a wide range of sizes, including runners, Kindred Cottage brings a nostalgic, farmhouse-inflected presence to any room.

Creative design studio Trame has released Desert Threads, a limited-edition collection of rugs created by celebrated algorithmic artists IX Shells, Linda Dounia and Fingacode.

The company invited the three artists on a research trip to Morocco two years ago to explore the country’s centuries-old craft traditions. Immersed in the heritage of Berber textiles, they collaborated with artisans to translate these traditions through the lens of generative design.
The result is a collection that unites the precision of algorithms with the timeless artistry of Moroccan tapestry. Comprising three series of 29 works, Desert Threads reimagines the possibilities of textile design.
“The Desert Threads collections bridge code and craft, using generative design to celebrate diverse voices from the African diaspora and inspire young people across Africa to see themselves in a global creative future,” said Ismail Tazi, founder of Trame. “For me, with my Moroccan roots, this journey is deeply personal—it’s about honoring tradition while embracing generative algorithms to show how heritage and innovation can thrive together. Our hope is that this work reaches beyond borders, sparking connection, craftsmanship and creativity in a world that’s changing fast.”
With Desert Threads, Tazi said Trame continues its mission to connect global artists with heritage artisans. Developed with Art Blocks technology, the project not only honors Moroccan textile traditions but also expands the language of generative design.

The three artists include: Ix Shells, a Panamanian-based new media artist who explores sound, generative art and the interplay between the two. With a background in architectural technology and a passion for digital aesthetics, her work merges intuition, emotion and computational precision.
Linda Dounia is a Senegalese and Lebanese artist based in Dakar whose work examines the intersections of craft and technology. Her artistic practice spans acrylic, pastels, video, GANs, and programming languages like p5.js. Her themes delve into solarpunk ideals, decolonization, and the philosophical dimensions of techno-capitalism.
Fingacode, also known as Junior Ngoma, was born in Cameroon and is now based in the UK. He is a multidisciplinary artist and software engineer. His work merges bold visual elements with cultural inspiration, using generative motion graphics and algorithmic processes to celebrate ancestral heritage.

Luxury outdoor furniture company Brown Jordan recently expanded its accessories category with its first rug offering. The 11 designs in the collection reflect Brown Jordan’s philosophy that every surface, from the ground up, should embody intention and refinement.
Design foundation: The new rugs boast rich textures, thoughtful patterns and a refined palette that complements Brown Jordan’s current offerings.
Performance and poise: Styled with the elegance of an interior rug yet woven to endure the elements.
Material excellence: The rugs are made from 100% solution-dyed polypropylene, with color locked into the fiber for UV and fade resistance compared to surface-dyed rugs. Anti-microbial moisture-resistant, and densely woven, the rugs retain shape and integrity.
Versatile use: The rugs are ideal for grounding seating groups, softening poolside lounges, or defining hospitality spaces with a refined foundation.
