Uma Homa Décor names new CEO

Uma Home Decor has named industry veteran Andy Stein as its new chief executive officer.

LOS ANGELES — Uma Home Decor has named industry veteran Andy Stein as its new chief executive officer.

He succeeds Naval Bansal, the former president and CEO who had been in that role for the past seven and a half years while also serving as vice president for the past 20 years.

Stein is the founder and former president and CEO of accent and occasional furniture specialist Stein World and was most recently owner and CEO of Coast to Coast Imports, also a specialist in furniture, lighting and other decor.

As CEO, Stein will oversee Uma’s corporate strategic vision and is transitioning the current management and sales teams from Coast to Coast into Uma’s existing leadership structure.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Andy Stein to the Uma family,” said Ira Starr, founding partner of Long Point Capital, the primary investor in Uma. “I’ve known Andy for over 20 years, and bringing him on board allows us to leverage the strengths of both organizations.

He added, “Stein’s expertise in accent furniture will be an exciting addition to Uma’s already extensive home décor offerings.”
