Sherrill Furniture to accelerate Hurricane relief efforts during High Point Market

HICKORY, N.C. – Sherrill Furniture Company said it will donate $200,000 or 5% of gross sales, whichever is greater, from all orders placed at High Point Market to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

Sherrill has already made donations and will be releasing funds through the end of October, the company said. These donations have benefited, and will continue to benefit, disaster relief efforts in western North Carolina communities. The donation is structured to provide critical support where it is most urgently needed.

“Our roots are in these communities, our neighbors, our friends and our furniture family are here, and we want to help them in a meaningful way,” said CEO and owner Charles Sherrill. “Our people have always been the heart of this company, and we want them to know we are here for them — during the good times and the tough times. This donation is our way of saying, ‘We stand with you.’ We believe that by supporting local organizations directly, they can respond swiftly and efficiently to the most pressing needs on the ground.”
