1stDibs explores the story behind cherished objects in new podcast
NEW YORK — Online marketplace 1stDibs has launched “Objects of Desire,” a design-focused podcast.
The bi-weekly podcast is hosted by 1stDibs Editorial Director Tony Freund and Noz Nozawa, a San Francisco-based interior designer and principal of Noz Design. The hosts and their guests, who come from various creative disciplines, will discuss a single art or design object that holds deep meaning for them.
“Everyone has that one piece that isn’t just an object, but a reflection of who they once were or who they aspire to be,” said Freund. “The things we gravitate to aren’t always determined by ‘taste’ or aesthetics, and this podcast is where the world’s most interesting people share the personally revealing stories behind the objects they love.”

In conjunction with the podcast, 1stDibs’ weekly digital magazine, Introspective, has commissioned content that dives more deeply into the stories of each object’s creator.
Objects of Desire episodes drop every other Tuesday on all major platforms, including Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
