2 mother-daughter retailers take the stage for WithIt’s fall breakfast event

HIGH POINT — WithIt, Women In The Home Furnishings Industry Today, is hosting a panel discussion for its Fall Education Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 27, during the High Point Market.

The market event will be moderated by NFM Chief Merchandising Officer Nora Gomez, and the panel will feature two mother-daughter retail duos: Teddy and Courtney Garrigan of Coco & Dash in Dallas and Gail Komisar and Randi Schachter of Biltrite Furniture in Milwaukee.

The panel discussion will focus on mastering the art of grit, resilience and creativity to excel in today’s challenging business environment. Both mother-daughter pairs will discuss their experiences in the industry and what they are doing to thrive in today’s world.

The Fall Education Breakfast will take place at The Factory at Congdon Yards, on the third floor. There will be limited parking spots behind the venue, and shuttles will be available from the Transportation Terminal at 7 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.

Tickets to the event, which includes a hot buffet breakfast, are $40 for market attendees and $30 for WithIt members. The event is sponsored by Myriad Software and Nebraska Furniture Mart.
