A key tenant in the Hamilton-Wrenn district is expanding is showroom to 20,000-square-feet
Fairfield Chair's CEO said the expansion supports its growth objectives, providing customers with a more elevated and in-depth showroom experience.

LENOIR, N.C. — Fairfield Chair Co. is moving into a 7,000-square-foot showroom located at 200 N. Hamilton, Suite 100 just in time for next month’s High Point Market.
The company said the showroom expansion supports the company’s immediate and long-term growth objectives, providing customers with a more elevated and in-depth showroom experience.
The expanded showroom will enable Fairfield to present a more comprehensive showcase of its commercial and whole-home collections, offering greater depth across bedroom, living and dining categories, according to Dixon Mitchell, Fairfield CEO.
In addition to showcasing a broader range of styles, Mitchell said a newly enhanced design center will be installed with natural lighting and more square footage to create a more user-friendly experience. The expansion also includes a dedicated and refreshed hospitality area, designed to host industry panels, events, and client gatherings during market, with features such as a bar, food stations and lounge areas.
“This expansion is a strategic investment in Fairfield’s future, strengthening our ability to stay competitive in a constantly evolving market,” said Mitchell. “Our ongoing growth reflects the company’s solid foundation and steadfast commitment to long-term, sustainable success.”
The expansion will be completed in two phases. When the total expansion is complete the showroom will have 20,000-square-feet of space. A portion of the new space will debut during the upcoming High Point Market, with the showroom set to open on Thursday, October 24, at 1:00 p.m. The full expansion is scheduled for a grand opening in Spring 2025.
