Rákosrendező Masterplan – Urban and Public Space Design Competition
Organised by the Budapest Capital Asset Management Centre (BFVK), this competition tasks designers to create an urban development masterplan.
Proposals should outline a liveable urban district within the Rákosrendező brownfield area, an abandoned railway yard in Budapest.
Applications must submit their pre-qualification documents by 4 November 2025 and their masterplan proposals by 27 January 2026, via the online portal.

Re:Form - New Life for Old Spaces
Buildner's second Buildner's Re:Form – New Life for Old Spaces competition seeks adaptive reuse proposals for spaces under 250 square meters.
The competition prompts participants to select any existing building of their choice – whether in use or derelict – and asks them to reimagine the space in sustainable and innovative ways.

TerraViva's Rising from Ashes competition seeks plans for a place of worship to replace wildfire ruins near the San Gabriel Mountains in Altadena, California.
Proposals should be suitable for up to 400 people and consider environmental resilience – ensuring the space is protected against extreme weather conditions.

Contestants should reimagine stairs in creative and conceptual ways for Buildner's third The Architect's Stair competition. Proposals can be either abstract or site-specific.
