Snøhetta expanded the Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth College with a multi-level addition that contains theatres, auditoriums and studios.
Commenters were split, with one describing it as "exceptionally detailed and beautifully executed", while another said, "in their pursuit of contrived details, Snøhetta lost sight of the bigger picture".

Other stories in this week's newsletter that sparked debate include the completion of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, the traditional-versus-modernist style debate and a chair designed by Robbie Williams for Dutch furniture brand Moooi.
