Foscarini has launched a trio of sculptural suspension lamps that feature a new patented material made from recycled lava. A tribute to Italy’s volcanic landscapes, each lamp — Alicudi, Filicudi and Panarea — is crafted from lava sourced from Mt. Vesuvius. The lava-derived composite combines scraps of processed lava with a natural binder, creating lightweight yet durable structures with cratered, expressive surfaces. They were designed by Alberto and Francesco Meda in collaboration with Ranieri.
